What We Did
Asheville, NC welcomed the group at Asheville Regional Airport (KAVL). Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville was known for its roots as a resort town in the 1800s and for drawing visitors with rich history and plenty of outdoor activities.
The trip included a WINGS Safety Seminar, a deep dive into the Biltmore Estate with a house tour highlighting Gilded Age life and the Vanderbilt legacy, time at Antler Hill Village and the winery with a tasting, and exploring the estate’s grounds and trails along forests, meadows, and the French Broad River, plus a group dinner at Tupelo Honey.
